**Exciting Opportunity for Travel RN - Emergency Department** **Job Description:** - **Unit Overview:** - 52 beds with a dedicated team of 134 staff members - Dynamic day and night shifts ensuring patient care excellence - Patient ratios of 3:1 on average, accommodating low acuity up to 5:1, and team nursing for Pediatrics - **Team Structure:** - Each pod staffed with: - 1 Charge Nurse - 4 Nurses - 1 Tech - 1 Unit Clerk - 1 Physician - 1 Midlevel Provider - **Equipment and Technology:** - Utilize Alaris for medication administration - Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Meditech / CPN - **Requirements:** - **Must-Have Skills:** - BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications - Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital Emergency Department experience - **Preferred Skills:** - ENPC certification - Meditech experience - Familiarity with large facilities and diverse patient populations - **Typical Procedures:** - IV starts and medication administration - Sedation processes and pediatric care - Strong focus on enhancing patient experience - **Ideal Candidate Profile:** - Able to thrive in a fast-paced Emergency Room - Eager to learn and adapt in a younger, diverse team - **Expectations:** - Consistent medication scanning for all patients **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
