Unit Overview
This is a 41-bed Emergency Department supported by a team of approximately 90 staff members. The department provides a fast-paced environment with both core emergency care and a dedicated fast-track area.
Staffing
Day Shift:
1 Charge RN
1 Trauma RN
1 Unit Clerk
9 RNs
Mixed Paramedic/Tech/RN coverage on mid shifts
Night Shift:
1 Charge RN
1 Trauma RN
1 Unit Clerk
9 RNs
Mixed Paramedic/Tech/RN coverage on mid shifts
Patient Ratios
Core ED: 1:4
Fast Track: 1:6
Equipment
Specialty equipment will be covered during orientation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Candidates must have:
ACLS/ALS
BCLS/BLS
ENPC or PALS
- TNCC
- NIH Certification
CPI certification within 6 weeks of onboarding
Active Texas RN license or Compact RN license
Minimum 1 year of ED experience

Comfortable working with a multidisciplinary team
Patient-focused and safety-oriented
Dress Code
Royal blue scrubs
Closed-toe shoes required
Crocs with holes are not permitted
Weekends / Scheduling
Schedule and weekend requirements are based on the facility's staffing needs and assignment requirements.
