Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department-Trauma position requiring TNCC and NIH Stroke certifications along with an active IN or compact license.

Details

  • Work in the Emergency Dept-Trauma unit of a hospital setting
  • 12-hour shifts scheduled 07:00-19:30
  • 12-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Active RN license (IN state or compact) currently in hand
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required
  • Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS (all must be AHA)
  • TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • Ascension CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) certification required, an 8-hour course updated every 2 years
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

  • Provide emergency and trauma nursing care within a hospital ED setting
  • Radius rule applies which may affect local candidate pay rate, varying by facility location
  • Local candidates accepted, though rate may be reduced based on proximity to the facility
  • Travelers should begin discussing extension with their manager at least 45 days prior to end date
  • Only one submission per candidate is allowed system-wide across Ascension positions
