Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)
Location: Chico, CA
Start Date: October and Mid November
️ Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Varied 12-hour shifts
⏰ Possible Start Times: 6 AM, 8 AM, 10 AM, 12 PM, 2 PM, and 6 PM
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Chico, California.
The Emergency Department is a Level II Trauma Center and a Joint Commission-accredited STEMI and Stroke Receiving Center. The department has 49 beds across five pods, a maximum patient ratio of 4:1, and approximately 68,000 annual patient visits.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced emergency nurse with strong trauma, pediatric, cardiac, and stroke care skills.
Required Qualifications
Current, active California RN license.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Current TNCC certification — required.
Minimum 3 years of previous Emergency Department nursing experience in a Level II trauma center or higher.
Experience managing pediatric emergencies, trauma, STEMI, and stroke cases.
EPIC charting experience.
