Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes to the medical team.
  • Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
  • Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with best practices in emergency nursing.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications.
  • Experience with pediatric patients is essential.
  • Familiarity with Meditech Expanse 6 is preferred.
  • Permanent MA nursing license required.
