Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Travel assignment in the Emergency Room. This role involves working in a Level 1 Trauma Center, providing care to a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to the elderly with various medical conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and emergency nursing, proficient in handling high acuity cases.

  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the emergency department
  • Administer medications and manage patients' treatment plans
  • Respond to cardiac arrests and acute medical conditions
  • Collaborate with the trauma team to stabilize and treat critically ill patients
  • Interpret and act on cardiac rhythms and monitor patient vitals

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active IL license or confirmation of application process initiation
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC or TNS
  • Proficiency in nursing care, monitoring, and medication administration
  • Experience in using EPIC charting system

Preferred:

  • SANE RN experience
  • Experience in a teaching hospital
  • Prior travel assignment experience

PEL/VIP Job ID #64943490. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
