Job Summary – RN Emergency Department (ED) | Michigan | 13-Week
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED)
Location: Michigan
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12X 3 Nights

- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation.
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
- Monitor, assess, and treat patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure patient safety standards are met.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) RN experience.
- Previous experience in a Level II Trauma Emergency Department is required.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current Michigan RN License.
- BLS (AHA) certification.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
