Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring NH or compact RN license and pediatric adaptability for a 12hr night shift assignment.

Details

• Emergency Department setting treating patients from newborn to geriatric, excluding OB cases
• Candidates without pediatric experience may be considered if willing to learn and train
• 12hr night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 3 shifts per week
• No on-call requirements
• May be requested to float within the facility
• Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP
• Cerner EMR experience required within the last 12 months
• NURSYS report verifying all active RN licenses required
• 2 recent Charge/Manager RN references required (peer references not accepted)

• Provide emergency department nursing care across a wide patient population
• Holiday coverage required for this assignment
• Weekly orientation provided
• Returning perm staff may apply as travelers after a 12-month break in service
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration
