Emergency Room RN Job Requirements

• Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
• Healthcare Provider BLS required
• ACLS required
• TNCC required
• PALS required
• CEN preferred
• Ability to work nights and every other weekend
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent communication skills

Emergency Department Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency room nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent needs
• Care for a diverse patient population, including adults and children
• Support the treatment of critical cardiac, trauma, and pediatric emergency cases
• Assist with emergent and urgent mental health presentations
• Perform assessments, triage, monitoring, and intervention in a fast-paced ED environment
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective patient care
• Document care accurately and maintain compliance with departmental standards
• Contribute to a team culture focused on responsiveness, safety, and patient-centered care
