Description

American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Department RN for a night shift assignment requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and ME or compact RN licensure.

Details

  • Emergency Department setting offering full-spectrum emergency care and a separate Chest Pain Center
  • Night shift schedule, 7p-7a
  • 13-week assignment
  • May be required to serve in charge nurse or preceptor roles as needed

Requirements

  • Active ME or compact RN license required
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
  • At least 1 year of critical care nursing experience required
  • Candidates with hits or actions on license/background will not be accepted

Additional Information

  • Responsible for direct and indirect patient care across all areas of the unit, including assessment, IV medication/blood administration, patient education, and documentation
  • Must not be a previous employee of this facility
  • Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
