Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide emergency care for patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics, excluding obstetric cases. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, ensuring excellent patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to emergency patients.
  • Assess and monitor patient conditions effectively.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment options.
  • Participate in continuous learning and professional development opportunities, including training in pediatric care if needed.

Shift Details

This position requires working a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in New Hampshire or a compact RN license.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP certifications are required.
  • Recent experience with EMR systems, specifically Cerner, within the last 12 months.
  • Two recent references from charge or manager-level registered nurses in the specialty.
  • A completed skills checklist matching the specialty is required.

Location

This position is located in Laconia, NH, with potential floating to various hospitals within the region.
