Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Schedule: Evening shift, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, 12-hour shifts. 36 or 48 hours per week available. Every other weekend and holidays as required. Block scheduling options may be available (Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday).

Highlights:

• Work in a busy 54-bed state-designated Level III Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center treating over 60,000 patients annually
• Comprehensive emergency services for all age groups with a highly trained multidisciplinary team
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 for critical/trauma patients to 1:3-4 for other patients
• 91-day assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Opportunity to gain diverse experience with float requirements to other units
• Biweekly orientation with 16 hours of non-billable onboarding

Requirements:

• Active Alabama or Compact state RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree required
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience working under highest professional license level; 2 years preferred
• At least 1 year of Emergency Department or specialty experience
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
• Must pass Dysrhythmia Basic exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• Willingness to float to other units and facilities as needed
• Proficiency with Meditech charting system preferred
