Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Emergency Department role requiring two years of acute care experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED/ER) setting within a hospital
• Night shift from 18:45-07:15
• 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Minimum two years of acute care RN experience required
• Minimum two years of Epic EMR experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required

Additional Information

• Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient plans of care
• Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff and functions as a mentor/preceptor
• Participates in a Practice Governance framework emphasizing evidence-based practice
• Facilitates patient and family education throughout care and at discharge
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and organizational needs
