Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license required
- At least 2 years of emergency nursing experience required
- Previous travel nurse experience required; first-time travelers are not eligible
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Experience in a general ED serving combined adult and pediatric patients
- Strong charting system experience required
- Ability to adapt quickly in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency department
- Must be comfortable working nights and every weekend
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
- Assess, triage, and stabilize patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions as indicated
- Monitor patients with respiratory, cardiac, neurological, traumatic, and behavioral health concerns
- Support procedures such as intubation assistance, chest tube management, and blood product administration
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient care
- Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with facility standards
- Promote a calm, organized, and patient-centered environment during high-volume shifts
