Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position on night shift, requiring an active GA or compact RN license and ACLS/PALS/NIHSS certifications.

Details

  • Hospital-based Emergency Department (ER I) setting
  • Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
  • 30-minute meal break included per shift
  • No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

  • Active GA or compact RN license in hand
  • Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
  • Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
  • RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed per assignment
  • RTO must be spread out and not clustered around holiday periods
