Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 2 years of ER experience and a KS or compact RN license.

Details

  • Emergency Department setting with a high volume of behavioral health patients
  • 13-week assignment with night shift hours from 19:00-07:30
  • Every other weekend required
  • Ceil blue scrubs required

Requirements

  • Active KS or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (AHA required)
  • TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • CPI/MOAB High-Risk training required, including online and on-site portions
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

  • Provide emergency nursing care in a high-acuity ER setting with frequent behavioral health cases
  • On-site CPI/MOAB training portion completed during orientation
  • Radius rule applies allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
  • Candidates should confirm local rate eligibility with account manager prior to consideration
  • First-time travelers may be considered for this position
