Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 2 to 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Completion of 2 to 3 travel nursing assignments preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Experience in high-acuity, fast-paced Emergency Department settings preferred
• Strong team-oriented, flexible, and patient-focused approach
• Experience with ER patient ratios around 5:1 preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Emergency Department patients with a wide range of acuity levels
• Perform and assist with critical interventions such as RSI, sepsis management, stroke protocols, and tPA administration
• Support central line placement, behavioral health patient care, and EMTALA transfers as needed
• Monitor patients closely while maintaining safe and efficient care in a busy ER environment
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and fellow nurses to deliver responsive, high-quality emergency care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in the EMR system
• Contribute to a respectful, friendly, and team-oriented unit culture
