Job Requirements

• Active RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience or experience in a similarly fast-paced acute care setting
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS or ENPC certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
• Excellent communication skills with patients and families
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong team mindset

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan in the Emergency Department
• Assess, monitor, and respond to changing patient conditions with urgency and accuracy
• Deliver safe, efficient care for a wide range of emergency presentations, including stroke, STEMI, and trauma cases
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Use critical care equipment and established protocols to assist with rapid interventions
• Communicate clearly with patients and families while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Support flexible coverage needs, including helping in related areas where competencies apply
• Contribute to a positive, energetic, and knowledgeable healthcare team culture
