Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department - Trauma 1 position requiring 2 years of ED experience and KS or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Emergency Department - Trauma 1 unit
• 13-week assignment with a 19:00-08:30 shift
• Works every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Cerner OneChart EMR
• May be required to float to like units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita
• Ceil blue scrubs required

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale
• CPI/MOAB High Risk training (online and on-site portions)
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• US Social Security Number and US home address required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide emergency and trauma nursing care within a high-acuity ED setting
• CPI/MOAB on-site training portion completed during orientation
• Candidates should begin discussing extension opportunities with their manager at least 45 days before assignment end date
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate per facility radius rule
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
