GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Muncie, Indiana.
Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ER Registered Nurse in Muncie, IN! This is an exciting opportunity for experienced RNs looking to make a difference in a fast-paced Emergency Department (ED) environment. We welcome first-time travelers and are committed to supporting our nurses throughout their assignments.
This trauma center features 48 beds that can flex up to 62 beds total using hall beds if needed. The facility maintains a staffing ratio of no more than 1:4 for regular ED patients, with hold assignments potentially including a ratio of 4:1 for progressive holds and 5:1 for medical holds. The ED averages 6.6 behavioral health patients per day, providing a dynamic and challenging work environment.
Shift Requirements: 3x12s MUST BE WILLING TO WORK CHARGE. Please note that local candidates from IN are not accepted.
Certification Requirements: ACLS, BCLS, PALS; Preferred NIH, TNCC. Floating is 100% required of ALL TRAVELERS; candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed.
Minimum Experience Required: 3 Years.
Skillset Requirements: Must have AT LEAST level 2 trauma experience, General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs, Continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration, CPAP/BiPAP, Ventilated patients, Isolation Precautions.
