Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ED experience and at least 2 prior travel contracts.

Details

Cares for critical care, psychiatric, and pediatric patient populations
Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
Every other weekend or based on department needs
Every other holiday rotating with regular staff
Uses Epic EMR
May be required to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
13-week assignment length

Requirements

Active WI or Compact RN license
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA required)
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
At least 2 prior travel contracts required
Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills for critical care patients
Strong team collaboration and clear, timely communication skills
Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

Provide direct patient care to critical, psychiatric, and pediatric ED patients
Escalate concerns appropriately and seek support when needed to ensure patient safety
Must reside outside the facility's radius rule to qualify for full travel rate
Local candidates within the radius may be considered at a reduced rate
