### Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team! **Job Description:** - Location: Overland Park, KS 66215 - Unit Name: Emergency Department - Number of Beds: 24 - Patient Ratios: 1:4 **Unit Specifics:** - **Staffing**: - Unit secretary available 21 hours/day - 5 RN core positions from 10a-10p - **Equipment**: - Level 1 fluid warmer - GE monitor system - Artic sun - Lifepak - Alaris pumps - **Documentation System**: Meditech - **Scheduling Requirements**: - Every third weekend - Mid-shift scheduling from 10a-2230 to 1300-0130 - **Floating Policy**: Rarely; only if other staff have been flexed home - **Patient Experience Focus**: - Utilize AIDET principles - Whiteboards for communication - Maintain positive attitudes **Hospital Specifics:** - **Required Certifications**: - ACLS - BLS - ENPC or PALS - TNCC - NIH - **Desired Experience**: - Minimum 2 years in a Level 2 trauma center - Advanced knowledge in trauma care, STEMI care, stroke care, sepsis, and triage - **Procedures Performed on Unit**: - All procedures associated with Level 2 trauma center **Dress Code**: - Cobalt blue top - Black or cobalt blue pants (solid color) - Closed-toe shoes --- **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol)**: At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
