Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department or ER nursing experience
• Meditech experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced emergency care environment
• Self-motivated, high-energy, and team-oriented healthcare professional
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and clinical staff

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to emergency department patients in a busy, high-acuity setting
• Support patient flow in the main ED and pediatric emergency area as needed
• Monitor, assess, and prioritize patient needs with accuracy, efficiency, and compassion
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members to deliver safe, patient-centered care
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record and follow unit protocols
• Respond to changing patient conditions with sound clinical decision-making and urgency
• Maintain a professional, upbeat attitude while contributing to a positive team environment
