Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring TNCC and 2+ years of trauma/stroke/chest pain experience.

Details

• Work in a 10-room, 19-bed/chair Emergency Department
• Handles trauma, stroke, and chest pain patient populations
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Day shift schedule from 10a-10p
• No call responsibilities
• No floating required
• No 48-hour scheduling requirement
• EMR: MEDHOST

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Dept experience required
• Trauma, stroke, and chest pain experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start
• No employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront and limited to less than 1 week
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Local candidates will not be considered
• Travelers who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible
