Description

American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Department RN with at least 1 year of ED experience for a night shift role requiring an active IL RN license.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department providing direct and indirect patient care
• Night shift, 6:30pm - 7:00am, with rotating weekends
• 12-week assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license in the State of Illinois
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• ENPC, TNCC, and TNS certifications preferred
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required

Additional Information

• Evaluate patient outcomes and consult with specialists and ancillary departments to ensure optimal patient care and flow through the ED
• Communicate with ED physicians regarding changes in patient status, symptoms, and diagnostic results
• Provide care that addresses physical, psychosocial, and communication needs of patients and families
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response
