Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and a KS or compact RN license.

Details

  • >Position located in a hospital Emergency Department
  • Unit sees a high volume of behavioral health patients
  • 13-week assignment
  • Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30

Requirements

  • Active KS or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
  • Current PALS certification (AHA) required
  • TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • CPI or MOAB De-Escalation training required, including online and on-site portions
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

  • Provide emergency nursing care with a focus on behavioral health patient management
  • On-site CPI/MOAB High-Risk training portion completed during orientation
  • COVID-19 vaccination is not required
  • Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
  • Candidates should discuss extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
