Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of experience and a KS or compact RN license.

Details

  • treats a high volume of behavioral health patients
  • Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • 13-week assignment length
  • Uses Cerner OneChart EHR
  • Ceil blue scrubs required

Requirements

  • Active KS or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Current PALS certification (AHA) required
  • Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
  • TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • CPI/MOAB High Risk training required, including online and on-site portions
  • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start required
  • Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start required

Additional Information

  • Provide emergency nursing care in a high-acuity setting with a significant behavioral health patient population
  • On-site portion of CPI/MOAB High-Risk training to be completed during orientation
  • Local candidates are accepted, though a radius rule may apply and could affect pay rate
  • Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
