Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring KS or compact RN licensure and prior ED experience.

Details

  • Work in a hospital Emergency Department with high behavioral health acuity
  • 13-week assignment
  • Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
  • Uses Cerner EMR
  • Seal blue scrubs required

Requirements

  • Active KS or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA)
  • TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • CPI or MOAB De-Escalation training required, including online and on-site portions
  • Cerner EMR experience preferred
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Must provide full SSN and DOB for consideration
  • Copy of driver's license required for consideration
  • Two professional references required

Additional Information

  • Provide emergency nursing care in a high acuity behavioral health environment
  • On-site CPI/MOAB high-risk training portion completed during orientation
  • Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
  • Candidates must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
