Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a fast-paced Emergency Department requiring 2+ years of recent ER experience and multiple advanced certifications.

Details

• Weekend schedule of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (3x12 day shifts)
• 65-bed Emergency Department with patient ratios of Shock 2:1, Core 4:1, Psych 3:1, and Exam 6:1
• Uses Alaris pumps, Phillips monitors, and Belmont rapid infusers
• Documents in Epic EMR
• Floating required according to skill set
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Previous emergency nursing experience in a large ED required
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to adapt to fluctuating patient volumes in a fast-paced environment
• No work history gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care across varying acuity levels within a large ED setting
• Navy blue scrubs required
• EKG testing required as part of the hiring process, with two attempts allowed
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted
