Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department night shift position requiring BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

  • Level 1 Trauma Adult Emergency Room setting
  • Night shift, 19:00-07:30, 13-week assignment
  • Every other weekend requirement

Requirements

  • Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through AHA required
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • TNCC and NIH Stroke Certification preferred
  • Ascension Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training preferred

Additional Information

  • Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and protocols
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans
  • Serve as primary coordinator across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
  • Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
  • Radius rule applies which may reduce pay rate for local candidates
