• Documentation System: Meditech experience preferred

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department or ER nursing experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing required
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Strong team-player mentality with a positive, engaged approach
• Ability to float as needed within similar assignments

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Assess, stabilize, and monitor patients with conditions such as respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis-related concerns, and hypertension
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support timely, effective treatment
• Perform nursing interventions in a fast-paced acute care environment with changing acuity levels
• Maintain accurate documentation and support smooth patient flow through the Emergency Department
• Use strong clinical judgment to prioritize care and respond to changing patient needs
• Contribute to a positive, supportive team environment in a busy ER setting
