Key Responsibilities

• Perform triage of patients utilizing critical thinking and strong assessment skills
• Provide nursing care including IV/IO access, chest tube management, and catheterization
• Manage critical care drips and perform cardiac monitoring
• Conduct critical care assessment and management within a 16-bed Emergency Department
• Maintain a variable patient ratio of 4:1
• Document patient care using FirstNet – Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• CPI certification required (may be obtained after contract start; provided on site)
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Proficiency in IV skills, cardiac monitoring, and critical care assessment and management
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with chest tube management and critical care drip administration
• Familiarity with FirstNet – Cerner EMR platform
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department environment
