Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 1 year of ED experience and multiple advanced certifications.

Details

  • 13-week assignment in the Emergency Department
  • Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
  • 36 scheduled hours per week
  • Every other weekend rotation required
  • Holiday coverage required per department need

Requirements

  • Active FL or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale
  • AHA certification required for BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
  • Ascension CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) training required, an 8-hour course renewed every 2 years
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

  • Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
  • Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
  • First-time travelers may be considered for this role
  • Candidates should begin discussing assignment extensions with their manager approximately 45 days before the end date
