Job Requirements

• Active RN license and recent acute care hospital Emergency Department experience
• Minimum 1 year of recent ED nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications required
• Experience with trauma nursing and stroke care preferred
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, patient-focused approach
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Assess, monitor, and respond quickly to changing patient conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, EMTs, and the care team to support patient flow and treatment plans
• Perform emergency nursing interventions and assist with a wide range of ED procedures
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold unit standards of care
• Deliver compassionate, efficient, and team-oriented patient care in a busy hospital setting
