Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive emergency department nursing care across a 50-bed unit
  • Manage a patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5 in a fast-paced ED environment
  • Operate and interpret EKG, cardiac monitors, and blood glucose equipment
  • Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, EMTs, and medics
  • Perform all standard ED procedures and respond to a broad range of acute care needs

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Emergency Department experience
  • Active RN license required
  • BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications required
  • CPI Blue Card required
  • Strong communication skills with staff, patients, and providers

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Level I Trauma center experience
  • Stroke care experience
  • Energetic, collaborative personality with an adaptable, team-oriented work style
