**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Travel RN!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Information: North Channel FSED** - **Location:** 6191 E Sam Houston N, Houston, TX 77049 - **Floor:** FSED - **Number of Beds:** 22 - **Number of Staff:** 23 - Day Shift: 1 CNC, 3 RNs - Mid Shift: 2 RNs - Night Shift: 1 CNC, 3 RNs - **Patient Ratios:** 1:4 - **Type of Equipment:** Splinting, Defibrillator, Hamilton Vent, Welch Alyn, Bedside Cardiac Monitoring - **EMR:** Meditech Magic transitioning to Meditech Expanse on 8/13 - **Typical Hiring Profile** - **Must Have Skills:** - ACLS, BLS, PALS - TNCC - NIHSS - CPI - RN License - **Preferred Skills:** - ENPC - NRP - **Typical Procedures:** - IV Starts, Blood Draws, Moderate Sedations, Splinting - **Best Personality Fit:** - Teamwork - Patient Experience Focus - **Required Certifications:** - ACLS - PALS - BLS - TNCC - CPI - RN License - NIHSS - **Floating Area(s):** - Fairmont FSED (if needed) - **Dress Code:** - Royal Blue scrubs - Closed-toed shoes (no crocs with holes) - No false nails, air pods, or meta glasses - Stethoscope should be available for assessment - **Unit Guidelines/Policies:** - Regulatory Guidelines per Joint Commission: No food and drinks at the nurse’s station - **Weekends and On Call:** - Weekends: As needed or every other weekend (whichever preferred) - No on-call requirements **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
