Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Georgia or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Strong critical thinking, communication, triage, and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to emergency patients across a wide range of acuity levels
• Perform rapid assessments, prioritize care, and support efficient patient flow in the emergency department
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Document assessments, interventions, treatments, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a dynamic emergency medicine setting
