Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. This role requires a passion for patient care and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the well-being of patients in critical situations.

Unit Specifics

• Number of Beds: 19
• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Staffing Description: Unit secretaries available per shift; no techs
• Type of Equipment: GE Monitors, I-Mobile
• Documentation System: MEDITECH, Tele-Neuro

Scheduling Requirements

• 3 shifts per week
• Weekends rotate
• No float policy

Patient Experience Requirements

• AIDET
• Communication Boards

Qualifications

• Requested Skill Set: ER experience, triage, NIH Stroke, CPI (provided)
• Must Have: Basic ER skills including triage, ability to manage behavioral health patients, patient-focused attitude
• Advanced Skills Needed: None

Procedures Performed on Unit

• Tele-Neuro
• Moderate Sedation
• Basic Joint Reduction

Certifications Required

• Current RN license
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIH Stroke Scale

Dress Code

The required uniform is navy blue.
