Job Details

• Location: Tomball, Texas

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
• Schedule Notes: Weekend coverage required, minimum of 2 weekends per month
• Work Environment: Level III trauma, accredited chest pain center, and primary stroke center
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• PALS or ENPC required
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and comfort working in triage, resuscitation, and other ER areas as needed
• Preferred: TNCC, ATCN, or CEN certification
• Ability to care for adult and pediatric patients in a high-acuity emergency care setting

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care, triage support, and patient assessment in the Emergency Department
• Start IVs, collect blood specimens, administer medications, and support blood transfusions
• Assist with resuscitation efforts for adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced ER environment
• Support care for behavioral health patients and maintain a safe, professional environment
• Assist with intubation, splinting, restraint application, and moderate sedation
• Work closely with physicians, paramedics, and nursing staff to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care
• Remain flexible and ready to float between areas such as triage and resuscitation rooms based on unit needs
