Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a freestanding emergency department setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
  • Perform IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedations, and splinting procedures
  • Utilize bedside cardiac monitoring, defibrillator, Hamilton Vent, and other unit equipment
  • Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR (transitioning to Meditech Expanse)
  • Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team members across day, mid, and night shifts
  • Float to a secondary freestanding emergency department location as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
  • NIHSS certification
  • CPI certification
  • Minimum 1 year of emergency room nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • Strong teamwork orientation and patient experience focus
