Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 1 year of ED experience and multiple advanced certifications.

Details

  • 13-week assignment in the Emergency Department
  • Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
  • 36 weekly hours with every other weekend rotation
  • Holiday coverage required per department need

Requirements

  • Active FL or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department experience
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, TNCC, and Ascension CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention)
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be AHA-issued
  • TNCC certification must be current and renewed every 4 years
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification updated per group schedule (yearly or every 2 years)
  • Ascension CPI must be an 8-hour course updated every 2 years
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Additional Information

  • Provide emergency nursing care within a fast-paced ED setting
  • Local candidates accepted, though pay rate may be reduced within a facility-specific radius rule
  • Radius rule mileage varies by facility location
  • Travelers are encouraged to discuss assignment extension with their manager approximately 45 days before the end date
  • Only one application permitted across the Ascension system at a time
