Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a high-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department, requiring an active NC or compact RN license and at least 1 year of ED experience.

Details

  • Work in a busy, rural Emergency Department at a Joint Commission accredited hospital
  • 20-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:4, increasing to 1:5 during surge
  • Treats a varied patient population across all age groups
  • Uses Paragon EHR
  • Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • 36 hours per week guaranteed
  • Must work 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period
  • No on-call requirements

Requirements

  • Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
  • Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
  • AHA certifications required
  • Peripheral IV, Stroke, Sepsis, and STEMI experience preferred
  • Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
  • Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide emergency care in a high-paced, high-acuity setting within the region's largest and most comprehensive ED and Free Standing ED
  • Facility features the region's largest and most advanced ICU and PCU
  • Facility holds an 'A' rating in LeapFrog Hospital Safety
  • Scrub colors accepted include black, navy, and royal blue
  • Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate
  • Candidates within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate
  • Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
  • Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
