Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a high-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department, requiring an active NC or compact RN license and at least 1 year of ED experience.
Details
- Work in a busy, rural Emergency Department at a Joint Commission accredited hospital
- 20-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:4, increasing to 1:5 during surge
- Treats a varied patient population across all age groups
- Uses Paragon EHR
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week guaranteed
- Must work 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
- AHA certifications required
- Peripheral IV, Stroke, Sepsis, and STEMI experience preferred
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration
Additional Information
- Provide emergency care in a high-paced, high-acuity setting within the region's largest and most comprehensive ED and Free Standing ED
- Facility features the region's largest and most advanced ICU and PCU
- Facility holds an 'A' rating in LeapFrog Hospital Safety
- Scrub colors accepted include black, navy, and royal blue
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate
- Candidates within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
