Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift, 13-Week Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Department with a 1:4 patient ratio on the night shift
Perform and assist with emergency procedures including intubation and central line placement
Operate and monitor equipment including ventilators and Baxter IV pumps
Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR
Participate in rotating weekend coverage as scheduled
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, medics, triage nurses, and unit secretaries

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications
Demonstrated emergency response skills and direct patient care experience
Ability to work night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR
Team-oriented and adaptable personality with flexibility in a fast-paced environment
