Job Summary:
Electrophysiology (EP) Nurse position located in Tacoma, Washington. The role involves working in a specialized EP suite with a focus on advanced cardiac procedures such as ablations, atrial fibrillation, and flutter treatments. The selected candidate will support a collaborative team environment and assist with patient care throughout the electrophysiology procedures.
Job Details:
- Location: Tacoma, Washington
- Schedule: Days shift from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no call requirements, including weekends and holidays. The schedule may extend until cases are completed, with volunteer coverage for emergencies.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification, COVID vaccination, RCES or RCIS certification, minimum of 2 years of experience, experience with sedation and Phase 1 recovery, ICU or PACU background preferred, EPIC experience preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cath lab and EP.
- Additional Information: The position supports a combined unit with a team-oriented approach. No scrubbing is required, and the role may involve assisting in various operational tasks. The facility utilizes EPIC for charting, and the team focuses on patient-first care, prioritizing case backlog reduction resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
