Job Summary:
The Electrophysiology (EP) specialty is seeking a qualified professional for an assignment in a Level II Trauma Center located in Hudson, Florida. This role involves supporting a high-volume EP program with a focus on complex procedures such as A-Fib ablations, device insertions, and EP diagnostics. The position offers an opportunity to work with advanced equipment and a dedicated team within a busy cardiac unit.

Job Details:

  • Location: 14000 Fivay Road, Hudson, FL 34667
  • Shift Schedule: Days, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Start Date: 09/07/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications, education, degrees, and at least 1 year of experience in electrophysiology with EP cardiovascular technology (CVT) experience. Candidate must be able to monitor EP cases as well as scrub them.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cath lab procedures, particularly in EP diagnostics, atrial fibrillation ablations, and device insertions.
  • Unit Information:
    • Bed Capacity: 309 beds
    • EP Labs: 2
    • Staff: 1 CVT tech, 4.5 RNs
    • Equipment: GE X-ray system, Claris hemodynamic system
    • EMR: Mac Lab / Meditech
    • Staffing: Day shift with a typical team including 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and sitters as needed
    • Procedures: A-Fib ablations, EP diagnostics, device insertions, TEE/CV evaluations
    • Policies: Unit policies are available but not attached; traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.
