StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 10 D Pay Rate: $3539.00 - $3647.00

Join a dynamic electrophysiology team as an EP Tech in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a city often called the “Scenic City” for its beautiful riverfront, mountain views, and abundant outdoor recreation. Nestled along the Tennessee River and surrounded by the Appalachian foothills, Chattanooga offers an appealing blend of nature, culture, and convenience. Residents enjoy a revitalized downtown, a thriving arts and restaurant scene, walkable neighborhoods, and easy access to hiking, biking, rock climbing, and water activities. The cost of living is generally lower than many comparable metro areas, making it an attractive place to live, work, and grow your career. In this role, you will support a busy electrophysiology service in a modern, well-equipped EP lab environment. The facility serves as a key regional resource for advanced cardiovascular care, providing a wide range of EP procedures for patients from Chattanooga and the broader Southeast Tennessee region. You will work side-by-side with electrophysiologists, cardiologists, nurses, and fellow technologists in a collaborative, patient-focused setting that emphasizes safety, evidence-based practice, and continuous improvement. As an EP Tech, your typical day will center on providing technical expertise before, during, and after electrophysiology procedures. Responsibilities may include preparing the lab and equipment, setting up and operating recording and mapping systems, assisting with vascular and catheter access, and supporting complex EP studies and ablations. You will help with device implants such as pacemakers, ICDs, and biventricular devices, and participate in post-procedure care in collaboration with the broader care team. Accurate documentation and adherence to established protocols and policies will be a key part of your work. You can expect to work in a high-acuity environment where patient volumes are steady and the caseload is diverse, ranging from routine EP studies to complex atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia ablations. Shifts may include weekday day shifts with rotating call for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on procedural volumes and emergency coverage needs. Patient ratios and room assignments are designed to support safe, efficient care, with technologists typically dedicated to specific rooms or procedural types on any given day. The EP lab features advanced imaging and mapping technology, with emphasis on radiation safety and best practices for minimizing exposure to both patients and staff. The team culture values open communication, mutual support, and shared learning, encouraging technologists to stay current with evolving EP techniques and technologies. New team members receive dedicated orientation and support to ensure they feel confident and integrated within the lab. Working as an EP Tech in Chattanooga allows you to build your electrophysiology skill set while enjoying a city that offers both professional opportunity and a high quality of life. From walking or cycling along the city’s famous riverwalk to exploring nearby state parks and mountain trails, there is always something to do when you are off shift. The community is known for its friendly atmosphere and growing healthcare sector, making it a strong choice for EP technologists seeking both career development and an enjoyable place to call home.
