Job Summary:
Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist position in a clinical laboratory setting. This role involves performing diagnostic and interventional procedures related to cardiac electrophysiology, including pacemaker and defibrillator device management, catheterizations, and electrophysiology studies. The position requires a reliable professional with strong monitoring and equipment setup skills to support complex cardiac procedures.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week, with a contract duration from 10/27/2026 to 01/26/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). Valid California State Licensure with either Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) credential. A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrophysiology or related cardiac procedures.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in electrophysiology (EP) labs, including device management such as Pacemaker Insertion and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) management.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must have hands-on experience with accurate monitoring, electrophysiology equipment setup, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and implementation of complex cardiac procedures including transcatheter interventions. Call shifts of 8-12 per month, including one weekend of call per month, are required.
