Job Summary:
Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist position based in an acute hospital setting. The role involves providing specialized support in cardiac electrophysiology procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, ablation, and device implants. The assignment offers an opportunity to work within a highly specialized, magnet-level trauma facility with dedicated interventional and neurointerventional units.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 4x10 days, starting 10/26/2026 through 01/25/2027, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); a minimum of 0 years of experience in electrophysiology or related areas; valid state license (compact license preferred); at least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting; excellent skills in accurate monitoring, arrhythmia induction, electrophysiology evaluation, and related procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Philips X-Ray System, variety of atherectomy and thrombectomy devices, temporary Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) support, and neurointerventional knowledge.
- Float: Float rotation may be required within scope to meet facility needs.
- Additional Information: The role includes call responsibilities from 6-8 pm, with mostly early and finishing times, and occasional weekend shifts included in the regular schedule. RTO requests are managed on an individual basis, and candidates must be willing to work three of the five major holidays. Candidate must be at least 50 miles from the facility and have the ability to work a block schedule if requested.
