Job Summary
Electrophysiology Laboratory Specialist position in a dedicated invasive cardiology unit. This role involves supporting complex cardiac procedures, including cardiac ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implantations, and other advanced cardiovascular treatments. The position requires working day shifts in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility for necessary call or overtime as needed.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift 10-hour shifts between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM; minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); valid PA or Compact State License; EP Lab and Cardiac Catheterization Lab competencies required; Epic electronic health record experience required; at least 2 years of clinical experience.
- Holidays: Travelers will be expected to work 2 of 3 upcoming major holidays (Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day), with a maximum of 7 days of approved time off.
- Pre-Screen Unit: Candidate will undergo clinical screening for fit and compliance with guidelines; final decision made by the unit manager.
- Float: May be required as needed.
- Additional Responsibilities: Support for COVID-19 patients and adherence to tobacco and fragrance-free facility policies.
