Job Summary:
Electrophysiology Lab (EP Lab) Nurse - Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized care in a cardiac electrophysiology setting, supporting procedures such as pacemaker insertions and ablations. The role requires adaptability to the EP Lab environment and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license, at least 1 year of cardiology or EP Lab experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, experience with cardiac ablation, electrophysiology procedures, hybrid operating room, pacemaker insertion, and specialized procedures
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EP Lab procedures and cardiology interventions, familiarity with Epic charting system
- Float: Float rotation may be required between units or facilities
- Additional Information:
Candidates will circulate cases in the EP Lab, supporting complex cardiac procedures such as ablations and pacemaker insertions. Experience with interdisciplinary teams like IV, respiratory, interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and transportation is preferred. The assignment requires working 3 of the 5 designated holidays. The position is available from 09/28/2026 to 12/28/2026, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Candidates must have a compact state license in hand at submission. References covering the last 3 years are required, including at least 2 contacts. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities, with refusal possibly affecting employment status. Communication devices will be provided if needed.
